We are now looking for a KMA Coordinator with a focus on occupational health and safety

– a key role in strengthening, developing, and unifying the occupational health and safety work across the entire organization.

About the role

As a KMA Coordinator focusing on occupational health and safety, you will have a large and important mission: to develop, coordinate, and ensure the quality of the systematic occupational health and safety work (SAM) at Stenvalls' five production facilities.

You will work closely with production, maintenance, HR, and the safety organization, becoming a key person in creating structure, safety, and clarity in a rapidly growing and developing business. The role is both operational and strategic – you will be as much in the field as you are in planning, monitoring, and documenting tasks.

You will report to the KMA manager and become an important part of an engaged team where safety, responsibility, and improvement are at the center.

Your main responsibilities

As a KMA Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Leading, developing, and following up on occupational health and safety processes according to AFS 2023:1
• Ensuring that risk assessments, safety rounds, and incident management function throughout the organization
• Supporting and training managers and team leaders in their occupational health and safety responsibilities
• Quality assuring documentation, routines, and follow-up within the occupational health and safety area
• Driving improvements, internal audits, and development of safety culture
• Collaborating with production, HR, maintenance, and fire and safety organizations
• Being the contact person for regulatory matters and external audits
• Contributing to uniform routines and a modern, proactive occupational health and safety structure

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is confident, systematic, and has good theoretical or practical competence in occupational health and safety work – preferably with experience from an industrial or production environment. You have a good understanding of legislation, AFS regulations, and certification requirements, and you enjoy switching between operational presence and the development of processes, routines, and structure.

You are pedagogical, communicative, and relationship-building – and have both the courage and ability to be clear when the work/task requires it.

Requirements

• Documented experience in occupational health and safety work, preferably from industry/production
• Practical experience of SAM, risk assessments, safety rounds, and incident follow-up
• Very good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, AFS, and follow-up work
• Experience with documentation and management systems (ISO is an advantage)
• Good digital system skills and the ability to work systematically with data and routines
• Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good English
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Experience with ISO certifications
• Experience with internal audits or improvement work
• Experience in training or holding workshops
• Experience in a multi-site environment
• Digital occupational health and safety or deviation systems
• Finnish

Employment type: Permanent full-time employment (100%) with an initial probationary period.
Start date: Q1 2026 or by agreement

Travel: Regular travel between facilities
